Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully.

1. Definition and Interpretation

  • 1.1 The following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:

    • "Access Number"

    means any of the numbers designated by ZONE as the numbers required to be dialed in order to utilise the 1511Express service;

    "Account"

    means any account of a Member with respect to the provision of 1511Express service;

    "Application Form"

    means the online or printed 1511Express Application Form issued by ZONE;

    "Authorised Channel Partner"

    means the persons or companies contracting with ZONE in marketing and promoting 1511Express Service;

    "Bank"

    means any bank, financial institution or company from or with which the Designated Credit Card is issued;

    "Bill"

    means any bill, invoice or statement issued or rendered by ZONE of any charge, fee or other sum stated therein as due or payable to ZONE in respect of ZONE Express service;

    "Designated Credit Card"

    means the credit card specified by the Member in his/her application form for settling the fees and charges that become due and payable to ZONE;

    "Member"

    means any person who applies or subscribes for 1511Express service and whose application is approved by ZONE;

    "Customer Information"

    means all the information and data relating to the Member and the Cardholder provided by the Member to ZONE;

    "Payment Terms"

    means the terms and conditions of payment of fees and charges as determined by ZONE from time to time;

    "Specific Terms"

    means the terms and conditions prescribed or imposed by ZONE from time to time;

    "ZONE"

    means ZONE Telecom Pte Ltd, its successors and assigns;

    "1511Express Service"

    means the provision by ZONE of a facility which allow voice calls to be made to Designated Locations through a telecommunications line (whether or not subscribed by the Member) by dialing an Access Number through the use of a phone or other appropriate equipment connected to such line provided the Member agrees to purchase the service and also allows ZONE to top up his 1511Express Account by a pre-specified value automatically if his/her credit has been diminished to a certain level determined by ZONE from time to time for the continued use of the service;

  • 1.2 The headings or titles to the Clauses in these Specific Terms and Conditions are to facilitate reference and shall not be referred to or relied upon in the construction of any provision of Specific Terms and Conditions.

2. 1511Express Service

  • 2.1 The Member shall apply for the service by registering online at www.zone1511.com.sg and thereafter, by submitting the completed Application Form to ZONE. Members can also apply for 1511Express by submitting completed Application to ZONE or its Authorised Resellers.
  • 2.2 By applying for the service, the Member shall agree to be bound by the Specific Terms and Conditions.
  • 2.3 The Member shall be entitled up to 180 days to use any bonus amount granted by ZONE and up to 180 days to use the paid amount of the service from the date of account activation or date of subsequent top-ups.
  • 2.4 ZONE shall be entitled to forfeit any unused amount upon expiry without any extension or refund.
  • 2.5 The Member may request ZONE in writing to (a) change membership details (b) change the credit card details
  • 2.6 ZONE shall levy a service charge of $5.00 per request by the Member for any change under clause 2.5.'
  • 2.7 ZONE shall have its sole discretion to determine the types of utilities or functions of the Member Zone in its website to be accessed by the Member and may vary it from time to time.
  • 2.8 ZONE shall be entitled to add, remove or change the Designated Locations and the 1511Express IDD rates at any time without notice to the Member.
  • 2.9 The Member and the users shall not use the 1511Express service for any illegal purpose or in contravention of any provisions of the Law.
  • 2.10 Where any telecommunications line registered and used in relation to the 1511Express service has been terminated for any reason, 1511Express service continues to be available to the Member until the Member notifies ZONE in writing of the registration of a different phone number.

3. Payment Terms

  • 3.1 ZONE shall be entitled to charge the initial purchase amount to the Member's Designated Credit Card once his/her application for 1511Express service is approved and accepted by ZONE.
  • 3.2 ZONE shall be entitled to charge the top-up amount to the Designated Credit Card of the Member immediately whenever the credit balance of the account reaches $5.00 till the account is terminated in writing; giving ZONE at least 14 days to effect the termination.
  • 3.3 ZONE shall not be liable for any fees, charges the Bank may impose on the Cardholder and the same will be borne by the Cardholder.
  • 3.4 The Member shall ensure that there are always sufficient funds or credit in the Designated Credit Card for the Bank to comply with the instructions of ZONE.
  • 3.5 The Member shall inform ZONE in writing if there are changes to the credit card details

4. Suspension / Termination

  • 4.1 Either ZONE or the Member may terminate the 1511Express service at any time by giving to the other not less than 14 working days' prior written notice of such intention to terminate.
  • 4.2 ZONE may suspend indefinitely or terminate the 1511Express service at any time after the occurrence of any of the following events without giving any prior notice to the Member:
    • (a) the Bank fails to comply with the instructions of ZONE because the Designated Credit Card does not have sufficient credit or funds or for any other reason;
    • (b) any information provided by the Member to ZONE is untrue, false, misleading or inaccurate;
    • (c) any action is taken by any creditor of the Member to recover, realise or enforce any security over any assets of the Member or to enforce any judgement against the Member
    • (d) any failure, interruption, disruption or congestion of any telecommunications network, system or service howsoever occurring;
    • (e) if in the opinion of ZONE, the Member has breached any agreement with ZONE.
  • 4.3 In the event that any service is terminated for any reason:
    • (a) the auto top-up facility will be cancelled within 14 working days after the termination notice is received by ZONE;
    • (b) the Member shall be entitled to use the remaining account balance, if any, subject to the expiry period as stated in clause 2.3.

5. Customer's Indemnity and Liability

  • 5.1 The Member shall fully indemnify and hold harmless ZONE at all times against all actions, claims, proceedings, costs, liability, losses and damages whatsoever which may be brought or commenced against ZONE or in connection with any instructions given by ZONE to the Bank in respect of the Designated Credit Card;
  • 5.2 The Member shall notify ZONE in writing within 30 days of any discrepancy or mistake in charging or recharging to the Designated Credit Card.

6. Exclusion and Limitation of Liability of ZONE

  • 6.1 If the Bank charges or recharges an amount greater than the actual amount due to the Designated Credit Card, ZONE shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising there from;
  • 6.2 If ZONE receives the notification of discrepancy or mistake from the Member subject to the clause 5.2, ZONE shall carry out investigation and shall only be liable to refund the excess amount without interest to the Member if the error is true;
  • 6.3 Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, ZONE shall not be liable in any way to the Member whether in contract, tort or otherwise for any direct or indirect economic or financial loss (including loss of profits or revenue) or damage howsoever caused or arising;
  • 6.4 ZONE may at any time terminate the availability of the access number or change or replace any access number without giving any reason therefore.

7. Disclosure of Customer Information

  • 7.1 ZONE shall be entitled to use in any manner and for any purpose whatsoever or to disclose to any person, any information or data relating to the Member or data provided by the Member to ZONE

8. Assignment

  • 8.1 The Member shall not assign, transfer or encumber any or all of its rights, interests and obligations with respect to ZONE without prior written consent of ZONE;
  • 8.2 ZONE may assign and transfer any or all of its rights, interest and obligations to any person or company and following completion of each assignment, ZONE shall not be liable for action taken by the assignee

9. Notice and Correspondence

  • 9.1 All statements of account, notices or communication by ZONE to the Member may be sent or dispatched to the Member by delivery, post, email, facsimile or SMS via mobile phone transmissions or any other means deemed appropriate by ZONE;
  • 9.2 They shall be deemed to have been received by the Member:
    • (a) in the case of dispatch by email, facsimile or SMS transmission, immediately upon transmission by ZONE;
    • (b) in the case of delivery or post, within 48 hours after it was posted
  • 9.3 All notices and requests by the Member to ZONE shall be in writing via email or fax unless ZONE specifies to the Member otherwise.

10. Applicable Laws and Jurisdiction

  • 10.1 Subject to and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore;
  • 10.2 The Member shall not commence any action or proceeding in any jurisdiction outside of the Republic of Singapore with respect to any claim or dispute.
